Dr Karthik Anand is a Consultant Orthopaedician, specialising in Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports medicine.
He is currently practising at MGM Health Care Hospital, Chennai. Prior to this, he had worked as a faculty member in the Department of Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at the Centre for Sports Science, Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Hospital, Chennai for 3 years, during which he was also appointed as a Sports surgeon in the Indian Squash Academy, Chennai. After completing his masters in Sri Ramachandra Medical College, he went on to receive extensive training in the field of trauma and fracture from Madras Medical College (Chennai) and Sri Ramachandra Medical College (Chennai), before pursuing his passion for Arthroscopy and Regenerative sports medicine.
In the year 2017, he worked as a fellow in Arthroscopy and Shoulder service under Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai. In the year 2019, he underwent overseas training in the Department of Arthroscopy and Shoulder Replacement at Dartmouth Hitchcock University, New Hampshire, USA. He gained experience in Foot and Ankle surgery, working under Dr Yogesh Nathdwarawala and Dr Hiro Tanaka at the Aneurin Bevan University, Wales, UK in the year 2020. Dr Karthik Anand founded the 7Scope Orthocare and Sports Rehab Centre with a vision to serve the Indian Sports Society and the general public with dedication and diligence. He intends to promote good training & rehabilitation techniques and provide elevated standards of orthopaedic care for the betterment of his patients.
